His parents were Vlad the Devil, ruler of Wallachia, another county in Romania in the south of Transylvania and the sister of the Moldova ruler (the county toward east of Transylvania).

1460 – Dan the Young, another pretender of the Wallachia throne, fought Vlad the Impaler, but he was defeated, caught and killed by the cruel ruler.

1461 - The Turks asked Vlad to continue to pay tribute to Ottoman Sultan. Vlad the Impaler denies their request, so the Turks sent two men to send him a war declaration. But Vlad takes the men captive, punishes them because they kept their turban on the head by nailing it and impales them together with their army.

1462 - A big Turkish army flew Romania (Wallachia) over the Danube River. The Turks soldiers are frightened by the other Turks corps resting impaled along the way. A massive attack of Vlad's army came from the forest after the Turks were let without water (all the water-wells along the road were poisoned by Dracula's army). The battle was won after days of fight by Vlad and his peasant army. Turkish army is retiring and is consolidated by troops from south of Danube.
